FAQs

Do I need any Paddleboarding experience to go on a adventure?

No! A large percentage of our guests have had no prior experience with paddleboarding, thus, at your designated launch site, one of our trained paddle board guides will give you a great introduction to paddleboarding, provide you with all of the necessary paddleboard equipment and give you an informative paddleboard/safety lesson. Regardless of your age or skill level, you will find that our adventures are safe and rewarding.

What do I need to bring on my Paddle Board trip?

Recommended items to bring on your Paddle Board tour include: a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a camera (waterproof or water case) if you wish, and make sure to wear proper attire for weather conditions. Most importantly…bring a great attitude!

Are there any age requirements for taking a Paddleboard tour with you?

We happily invite the whole family to join our Paddleboarding adventures. The minimum age to participate in a Group Tour is seven years old. Those concerned with being “too old” can contact us to discuss their physical abilities.

Are there any physical limitations?

Anyone in average physical condition may join a Paddleboard trip. The only prerequisite we require is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure. Our tours are not considered to be strenuous or physically demanding, and we do not require a high level of fitness, however, if you have any physical impairments that require special services, or have concerns about any special needs you or your group may have, please call us to discuss them.

How stable are your Paddleboards?

The boards we stock are ranging from 10-12feet for you to use, specifically designed for comfort and safety. We want all of our Paddlers to feel very stable and comfortable during tours/lessons. Our boards will be stable enough to handle people weighing 65-310 pounds.

Should I “tip” my Paddleboard tour guide?

Although not required, a guide gratuity at the end of your trip is a nice gesture of appreciation for outstanding service, fun times and smiling children. Guiding is a hospitality industry; comparable to that of a server at a restaurant, except that our guides spend more time with you, teach you more, keep you safe and make your Paddleboard trip unforgettable.

How far in advance do I need to make a reservation for a Paddleboard tour?

Reservations should be made as soon as you are certain of the type of tour and dates you are interested in. We recommend selecting a day early in your vacation!! However, you can still call us after 8 a.m. on the day you’d like to go Paddleboarding to see if there are any openings to join us on a same day Paddleboard trip! Reservations are accepted up to 12 months in advance.
